GeFei Digital LLC · Wyoming, USA · Team in Shenzhen

I'm GeFei. I build products for global markets, and I bring a community of 6,500+ people along with me.

I started in SEO in 2008. In the last few years I've been running a team in Shenzhen that builds products for markets outside China. We've shipped quite a few; several have worked out, and each of those has passed a million US dollars in revenue on its own. What we learn doing that goes straight into 「哥飞的朋友们」, a paid community of 6,500+ members. This site is the home of GeFei Digital LLC. It lists what I offer publicly: tools, services, the community, and consulting.

01 — About me

Who I am, in my own words

I'm GeFei (哥飞). I started building websites and learning SEO back in 2008, while still at university, and my motive wasn't pure: I wanted websites that made money. I co-founded a startup straight after graduating in 2011, shipped a string of products on V2EX under the handle “qiayue”, and learned to grow a site's income with SEO and AdSense. Later I spent close to five years as tech lead at a game publisher, which is where I learned paid traffic.

On 30 November 2022 ChatGPT came out. I saw that AI fits the web better than anything before it, and went back to founding: a team in Shenzhen building products for markets outside China. We've shipped quite a few since; several have worked out, and each of those has passed a million US dollars in revenue. In July 2023 I turned what the company was actually doing to make money into a paid community, 「哥飞的朋友们」 (GeFei's Friends): how to find demand, build the site, get free traffic from Google with SEO, and monetise through ads or paying users. Two hundred-plus beginner tutorials are free on my WeChat account; the advanced material happens in the community every day, hands-on. I expected a couple of hundred people. It's now 6,500+ paying members. In August 2025 I gave a talk at Google's Shanghai office on how site owners can win on Google in the AI era.

The way I build is what I call the “small orchard” (小果园), or “growing websites for old age”: don't bet everything on one tree, plant a grove. Each product solves one clear problem. Test demand with SEO and Google Ads first: if people search, click and pay, put more into it; if not, move on to the next tree. Some trees grow tall. The six products on this page all came out of that orchard.

I'm @gefei55 on X. Most of what I think ends up there.

02 — The company

How the company fits in

GeFei Digital LLC is the limited liability company I registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. It is the entity behind everything on this page: the products, the link-building service, the community and the consulting. The team works from Shenzhen, China; customers are everywhere, and we work in English and Chinese.

What it does boils down to three lines: software (SEO tools, an SEO Q&A agent, web analytics), services (managed guest-post link building, Digital PR, and SEO consulting) and community (Web.Cafe, its tutorial columns and meetups). Revenue comes from community memberships and paid columns, service fees on link-building work, consulting retainers, and paid software plans.

  • One product, one problem

Each product does one job for people who run websites. Small, clear, and easy to judge: either it helps or it doesn't.

  • Demand is settled by search data

Before a product gets more of our time, it goes through SEO and Google Ads first. Real searches and real clicks decide, not opinions.

  • We use it first

The tools, the analytics and the link-building playbook all run on our own sites before anyone else sees them.

Open seo.web.cafe ↗

A set of free tools I built for the community. Keyword research, domain and site due diligence, page optimisation, growth and monetisation, and simulators for learning how search actually works. There's also an SEO agent, an L1–L10 learning path, and API and MCP access so the tools can be called from your own agents.

A curated directory, not an exhaustive one. Every entry gets a line on what it's for, so you can tell at a glance whether you need it. Free to browse.

What's in it
  • Online SEO toolsGoogle Search, Similarweb, Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix and more.
  • Browser extensionsAhrefs SEO Toolbar, Keywords Everywhere, Detailed SEO Extension, WooRank, Wappalyzer and others.
  • SEO blogs worth followingFrom Google Search Central to Semrush and Backlinko.
pvuv.ai

PVUV.ai

An open-source Google Analytics alternative that knows which visits are real.

Open pvuv.ai ↗

Most analytics tools count every hit as a visitor. If you monetise with ads, that blind spot costs you: invalid traffic gets your ad account penalised and you never saw it coming. PVUV.ai treats traffic quality as a first-class metric: it collects the usual analytics and a layered authenticity signal, so you can tell clean traffic from bots and act on it.

AGPL-3.0 open source. Runs entirely on Cloudflare Workers + D1: no server to run, no external database. Free hosted version, or self-host; AI analysis is a paid add-on. Under active development.

What's in it
  • Full-dimension analyticsMulti-site and multi-subdomain, per-page PV/UV, referrers, the full UTM set and click IDs (gclid, fbclid, ttclid, msclkid…), engagement-based bounce rate, true dwell time, and custom events with revenue converted to USD.
  • Full-path attributionSession- and user-level first-touch and last-touch attribution, with cross-device identity merge.
  • Three-layer invalid-traffic detectionClient signals (headless traits, environment contradictions, WebGL/canvas, honeypots), session features (timing, paths, interaction), and population statistics (fingerprint and IP-segment clusters, distribution tests, cross-site detection). Every event gets a 0–100 score, a verdict of clean / suspect / bot / crawler, and a record of which signals fired.
  • Ad protectionLoads ad code only for trusted traffic and never touches the ad network's script. Fail-open by design, so an error means ads load, not lost revenue. Per-site thresholds with a shadow mode to preview impact before enforcing.
  • Runs on the Cloudflare edgeWorkers for ingest and queries, D1 for storage, Queues for spikes, KV for blocklists, Cron for rollups. Exposed subdomains are isolated from the console, so a blocklist hit never takes your dashboard down.
  • AI analysisScheduled and on-demand reports that go from data anomaly to attribution to actionable recommendations.
gefei.ai

GeFei.ai

哥飞.ai: an SEO Q&A agent built on the community's knowledge base.

Open gefei.ai ↗

Ask an SEO question in plain words. It searches the community's articles, tutorials and chat archives, and answers from what it finds, rather than from a generic model's memory. It runs inside Web.Cafe; gefei.ai currently takes you straight to the chat.

What's in it
  • Answers grounded in sourcesRetrieves the relevant documents from the knowledge base first, then answers from them.
  • Years of material behind itThe community's SEO articles, tutorials and group discussions, accumulated over years, are the knowledge base.
  • Saved conversations, shareableConversations are kept, and a chat can be shared by link.
  • Part of Web.CafeLives inside the community site; gefei.ai redirects to new.web.cafe/chat.

Feature lists reflect each site as of September 2026. Prices and features are set on each product's own site and will change.

04 — SEO consulting

I also take on a few consulting clients

Beyond the products above, I do SEO consulting. It's the thing I've done for fourteen-plus years, and honestly the most valuable thing I have to offer: sitting down with your site and your numbers and helping you decide what to do next, and what not to do.

We'd rather do this well than do a lot of it, so we're selective. We talk first. We only start when both sides are genuinely convinced it's a fit and that there's a result worth chasing. If it isn't a fit, no hard feelings.

Fee From US$10,000 / month

That's the standard rate. It's not for every site, and it isn't meant to be.

Minimum term 3 months to start

SEO doesn't show results in weeks. A first engagement is at least three months.

How we pick Mutual yes, or no deal

Few clients, done properly. We start only when both of us think it's the right match.

Email me about your site Tell me the domain, what it makes today, and what you want it to make.
